Chris Clavel on the Monaco Info Podcast: Digital Is About People First

For him, digital identity and online services rest on secure data and on data sovereignty.
He sees first of all a political will, then the will to commit the resources: “Monaco is an excellent example: there is a sovereign cloud, there is Monaco Telecom, there is Monaco Cloud.”
He also points out that AI is now used for phishing and hacking, and that cybersecurity has to be ready for it.
Monaco Chamber of Commerce: what a delegation brings
Chris Clavel has taken part in a good fifteen economic delegations of the Monaco Chamber of Commerce. He highlights how well they are organised, the exchanges between entrepreneurs within the group, local contacts, and the chance to showcase the Principality.
He adds that the Chamber prepares each delegation beforehand with cultural guidance on the country visited.
He also mentions the Monaco-Africa Entrepreneurs Club (CEMA) and the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE) as other relays for Monaco entrepreneurs, and, among the bridges he cites, the one between MonacoTech and T-Hub, the incubator in Hyderabad, India.
His message to decision-makers: go and see for yourself. “Travel with the Monaco Chamber of Commerce.”

Asked what one could wish him, Chris Clavel quotes a Hindu philosopher: “what I wish you above all is that something happens to you that you never dreamed of.”
